An up and coming talent. She is a mujahidah destined to carry forward the mantle of Nuruddin Farah.

Big things will come from her.

Not that I'm a great fan of Farah's fiction especially. The only book of his I really enjoyed was the last of the Blood In The Sand Trilogy. That's a classic.

Does anyone know how many Somali novelists writing in English there are?
