Though gaas is trying to shine his image in puntland as a good leader who can be a somali president but he shows that puntland is not different than koonfur!

When he come to the office he paid for the army and the employees their unpaid salaries over the last year but the same employees haven't get their wages this month(may) yet.

In an interview with a local tv he revealed that the administration is broke and that the local people should depend too on theirselves because when he arrived he found there only a borrowed and owned $40m budget.

He said he needs to do first a dept relief program wich could take ages so the situation may not improve before that.

While Gaas was in Ethiopia his Deputy allegedly emptied the admin's account and now they are at each other's throats, cuz the money is nowhere to be found, and Gaas is furious as he should be.

that's why your country somalia needs a unitary system not a federal one. otherwise there'll be no limit to balkanization. nation splits regions into districts into sub districts etc

wtf your talking about, puntland is not my country, I'm just analyst that is it.

In my opinion, puntlands annual budget doesn't reflect the size of its populations, resources and international aid for lack of central administration and the wealth being concentrated on some parties.


I heard silanyo has put directly the port revenues under his office and not the finance minister though its unistitutional this tight policy may protected the nations wealth. Any true to this?

As for the topic, Abdi daawo needs to come up with his own economic plan instead of blaming others. If Faroole indeed is sitting on huge amount of money, then he can use his diplomatic ties and freeze the money, but i doubt faroole left with any money
