i respect your view, but what do you (your government) do for your unionist people in somaliland? somaliland supports its secessionists regardless of what clan they hail from , the republic pays all the basic needs (education,health,water employment) of badhan hargeisa borama lasnanod etc. the republic protects their security and properts. unlike the south no one can get away with murder in our territory. no one can take over an other citizen's house unlawfully. we do more good and help than harm jaale

Somaliland is the same, it is a balkanised region. Every clan rule its own regions in Somaliland. The little budget of Somaliland from international community mainly goes to one clan (Isaaq). Somaliland is no different to Galmudug, Ximan+Xeeb and Puntland. But just thank God you have relative peace, thats the only difference between the south and Somaliland, which is the peace. Though Somaliland also has its share of tribal skirmishes sometimes here and there.

Yes, I agree the Somali government does not control the whole country, this why I'm against federalism and balkanisation.

look brother jaale i can confirm you somaliland is not balkanised, you said every clan rules its own region in somaliland. THATS NOT TRUE all somaliland 6 regions (or 5 as you like) none of them is ruled by its clan. i rebeat NONE. only the the elected mayors represent their local peole. the rest of government officialalwats comes from other (non related) regions. for example awdal has hj governor while berbera has samaron governor. your governmrnt can not or did not do the same in mogadishu let alone the whole south.

again i can confirm you somaliland budget of 212 million is not from the international community, but we get some other aid money from different countries. isaaq community pays the most tax so whats wrong if they use the most, having said that all regions get the same basic services from the government. other developmentsts depedens on how each community contributes and develops their region. e.g all somalikand communities are building roads except the harti, why? i dont know.
