Buying Car made me lazy

Last year I used to walk everywhere that was walk-able or take the public transit when it wasnt. I was eating so little and walking so much I was naturally losing weight, 2-3 pounds a week.
Then last fall, I bought a car and only walk on occasion for fresh air (sad to say not very often).
Im tryna get back into the habit of walking and at one point I even decided to give the car to my brother so I can walk this summer but found myself making too many excuses.
I hit the gym 3X a week but i miss my walking days...who else notice their change of lifestyle and maybe body when they bought a car?

For some reason I never gain weight. I had my car since the 90s, but I always take a walk every chance I can get. Don't blame the car for your fat ass.

A car is so necessary. It would be nice to walk but Canadian warm weather is short lived so even if you don't have a car you'd most likely ride transit, I hate TTC ridding the subway was my life for many years. My car sometimes makes me lazy or make it easier to get to the gym...I've done both

Going to the gym with car is soo much easier. dont have to worry about carrying my gym bag or the after workout sweat or shower thing.
I dont know about other cities but in edmonton, when a somali girl is walking, somali guys stop and offer rides too damn much. I mean we are walking for the hell of it. Please keep moving.

Get a bike. I've been cycling for 5 years and i've had 7 bikes over those years. Cycled so much it's done a beautiful thing to my legs and calves.
