Whats with Somalis and their fear/hatred of the Arabs? What have Arabs ever done to Somalia?

If you want to hate someone there's the British which colonised us and separated us, the Americans who are colonising us today using African crusaders as footsoldiers.

We've even got more reason to hate Belgians, the ones who destroyed and killed millions of our African brothers in Congo, and who killed and raped alot of people, and also burnt a Somali boy alive in the 90s.

all I know is, all my relatives who have lived in arab countries despise them. i have had little to no interaction with arabs so most of my views come from them.

Since when is Arabic the second language of Somalis? Arabic can only be spoken by a fraction of the wadaads in Somalia and those who lived in Arabic speaking countries. It cant be the second language of Somalis when half of a percent speak it in Somalia. They cant read ArabIc or write in it. Why are you begging?

Anyways to be a Somali you have to be a muslim which you're not. Any Somali that leaves the religion revokes his ethnicity.

Arabic is our second language, on the contrary, Arabic is lingua franca between the students of knowledge and the scholars, while also 90% of the schools in Somalia teach their whole curriculum in Arabic. I was one of those students as a dhaqan celis kid.

I'd go as far as saying that 70% of people aged 16-25 are fluent in Arabic while 50% of the rest of the population understand it. How do they watch Aljazeera and news in general?

Arabs have done something against Somalis with South Yemeni and Libyan support for Ethiopia against the Somali government but i digress.
What i have seen far more common is the Somalis hating Arabs because the Arabs have supposedly done nothing for Somalia, but then this argument is pitiful.
