Ina Ilay needs to take advantage of Ethiopia and build Jigjiga so it can compete with other regional capitals in Ethiopia. It sad to see that not much investment is going in Jigjiga and other towns.
The infrastructure of Jigjiga is very important

No amount of bribery will disguise the oppression and injustice by Ina Iley and Ethiopia.

why can't you defend your arguments rationally instead of hiding behind insults and regurgitating ancient tribal adjectives.

Good for you to express your views without resorting to insults.MarsinQorahay wrote:ONLF horta waamaxay? from what I understood above you say we should support Inna Ilay and Liyuu police because
1-Liyuu police defend Ogaden from somalis
2-ONLF is used to get back at Ogaden by other somalis
3-The methods and ways of ONLF are outdated or no longer applicable
That is my best attempt in summarizing your view of why we should support Ina Iley and Liyuu police. If not say otherwise
it seems to me what inspired your deduction and reasoning to come to the above conclusions revolves around what you view to be the pressing issue facing our people.
That the endless toll of torture and oppression at the hands of successive Ethiopian regimes that continue to this day is simply overlooked, entertaining the idea that our main problem isn't Ethiopia but Iidoor, MJ, etc and our perils would wither away if we all just covered our eyes and became loyal subjects of Ethiopia. This would allow us to get weapons and attack other Somalians in settling old tribal scores.
Sxb our problems isn't what tribes insult us. ONLF was started in 1994, a political party that took arms after they couldn't advance their interest through peaceful means. It was oppression that drove successive Jabhads to take arms against Ethiopia. It is my belief so long as that oppression remains their would be a group, irrespective of their name, that would fight until such oppression is no more.
I actually do not have a problem with point #3 provided if you tell us how you plan to advance the interest of our people through whatever methods you see relevant. However, all that the current crop of alcoholics, Qaat chewers and their supporters spew is how they will kill UBBO, and arrest UBBO, etc. Have you noticed their isn't a single independent media platform based in kilil5. No single radio, television, website, journalist, that doesn't parrot the line of UBBO, nabad, development, caano, iyo aabo meles.
The day I see a somali group/party/individual within Ethiopia openly questioning the bloody history and the injustice that has taken place, arguing for fair trial of thousands languishing in prisons, I would be their first supporter. But if joining Ethiopia means we would be used to further kill our kinsmen and cause more injustice no man in their right mind would support such proposition.
