Hirsi met members of the All Isaxaaq Club and the newly Ambassador to Australia, Mujahid Balishire, in the all-Isaxaaq built Ambassador Hotel

Mr. Balishire is a great thinker and forward man, whose politics and views are relevant, modern and timely. Balishire thinks outside the box and is a great asset to Somaliland. I have never seen a Lander as determined, passionate and as humble as Balishire. He is a fantastic man who will make huge difference to Somaliland's image in down under.

He has already established a number of important relations. He single handily organized many trips, meetings and seminars for Somaliland ministers including Mr. Abdi Hussein Dualeh's participation in the energy conference in Perth, Australia, last year.

Mr. Abdi Hussein Dualeh with the former Australian Foreign Minister Honorable Bob Carr.

He hosted many Landers politicians and non-politicians. He is the first Lander in Australia and New Zealand to answer any Lander who needs help whatever that may be. He helped organize Ayan's historical facial surgery with Edna Adan Ismail and travels across the Pacific to make such things possible. As you know Australia is not like UK, Australia is vast land and the settlements are far and wide apart.

What I like most about Mujahid Balishire is that he locks his eyes on the prize and there is no way of derailing or diverting his attention. If he sets his goal to become President of SL one day, I know he is going to achieve it...even if that means crawling over the wall.

Him and Hirsi teaming up is like the A-Team of Idoor superstars. He is one of the most transparent and passionate man. He can write more books about Somaliland than J. K. Rowling and her Harry Porters. :sland:

Just to stay ahead, the man carries at least five mobile phones; friends, family, government, NGOs and immigration

I hardly see any Lander who thinks beyond Habar-Habar but Balishire is one of them. He is all Somaliland. He eats green, sleeps white and breathes red.

Mujahid Balishire with the Premier of the Government of Victoria, The Hon. Dennis Napthine. --- Yes indeed he loves to be referred to as "Mujahid" just like the Hawdian; it's Isaxaaq thing

He will open a new office in Melbourne once he returns and he already has good ideas on how to make it sustainable. He is a true Mujahid.

Yes it was built by Daryeel and Daryeel is worth millions. They built several million dollar projects (including Dahabshiil Mall, two Deero malls, Hargeisa Theatre, Hargeisa airport (not runway), etc) and currently building more (many close to completion). They import construction materials, build their own decorative and furniture, they are in the real estate business (flipping homes, leasing, etc).

Daryeel keeps it low key but they are balling.

Yh it is a top company, they built most of the high quality towers in Somaliland including Qaran Express tower and Telesom. I want to find out how $
much do they build for a bungalow or a villa? Wanted to build a couple of them in Bohol & Xarshow.

Daryeel does not promote itself nor work on its brand but they are the #1 construction company in SL. They built almost all the towers and major projects in the country including the SomCable HQ.

But this topic is not about Daryeel guys :)

It's not first time Hirsi met with the Isaxaaqis. Two months ago he came down to Hamdi hotel to support Isaxaaq initiative for Sabawanaag. I will soon inform you about Sabawanaag. We are doing several projects there.

LeJusticier,

His real name is Sharmarke but Balishiire is a small tuulo in the Sabawanaag district. It's named after his grand-grandfather (Shire) and it has a bali (little reservoir).

Daryeel needs to hire architects it seems. Judging from their portfolio, they've built nothing but eyesores.

Nothing to do with the money. They can build an ugly house for $20,000 or $200 million. That's why Riyadh is an eyesore and Venice isn't. It's about aesthetics.

This stupid government should be giving contracts to companies like daryeel not foriegn contractors.
daryeel is something to be proud of..

they are very much under estimated.
I am sure they could have built a better hargeysa airport for 1/3 of the money/.
