Sabawanaag & May 18

The Isaxaaq are passionate people who are very patient but warriors when they reach boiling point. They also love all their brothers equally be it HY, Cidagale, HA, HJ, Arab dandhagax or Ayub.

Isaxaaq also don't talk ill about others. During the SNM days, the biggest battles occurred in Isaxaaq settlements and the biggest one of them all was Cadaadley followed by Gacan Libaax.

After Faqash were hammered in Cadaadley, it was a home run from Dababahal (Sabawanaag) to Gacan Libaax. Cadaadley battle drew most of the fighters from Isaxaaq, Cidagale and the Arab from Baligubadle, which already hosted the largest SNM battalions. A lot of Isaaq lost so many kids in the battle of Cadaadley but by far the majority came from Isaxaaq, Cidagale and Arab.

In the last hour, all the SNM fighters came together in Dabahal before storming Burco, Hargeisa and Berbera...

Isaxaaq never demands credit nor boasts about their role but it is a known fact but we know it could not have been done without the rest of the Sheikh Isaxaaq family.

Hawdian stop your divisive ways. Weligey manaan arag a Isaxaaq that seperates themselves from other HY subclan and calls themselves Ciidagaaleweyne. There is nothing wrong with Ciidagaale wa Garxajis wana tolkeen but bila abe hays ka dhigin. You maybe have SM and Ciidagaale cousins and maybe that's why you choose to associate yourself with them more but don't paint a wrong picture this is a public forum.

Long live the Isxaaq people
In the Line of The Grand Mufti Shire sharmarke adan, who had 24 sons and his sons also had each a dozen one of the finest horse riders of Hargeysa in the 19 century
Yusuf Qalinle Father of education
Cali Maxamamd Waran cade one of the most die hard Somalilanders i have ever seen the most oustpoken and extreme against Pan walanweynism

Suldaan Xiirey the spokes men of Somaliland elders
Mujahid Qaasim who demolished every single daarood in poetry
Who can forget Mujahid Xaaji Dalayaad
The Isxaaq warrior who killed the second Isaaq sultan in 17 century Dul guduud of the cabdalle isxaaq clan full of Kibir He slaughtered Suldaan Farax the son of Sultaan Guleed.
And in entertainment we have Walaaha sweden

Weger,
if memory serves me right it was Xusein Dheere who stormed Cadaadley right after ahmed mire went deep in Burao.
Isaxaaqs are nothing but sellouts you can't change history son.

Khalid well informed brother

You even know the Grand Mufti Shire Sharmarke Adan

Notorious,

I'm not dividing walaal. I unify Isaaq brothers. HY is a brother as much as the Cidagale. What is the issue? We spent more time growing with Cidagale than the brother we shared breast feeding.

Cidagale has been there from day one and their role can not be diminished. We appreciate them as much as the others.

Kaliil,

Like I said all Isaaq contributed from all corners and all walks of life but the biggest battles occurred in Isaxaaq settlements. Are you trying to say that Cadaadley is not Isaxaaq hood? or Gacan Libaax? Labisagal?

Sedexda melba wa melahi Faqashta lagu jabiyeey and their ultimate downfall.

All Isaaq did the shahiid.

RIP.

Chill Folks, Isaxaaq is a sub clan of HY at the end of the day. By the way Hawdian Gacanlibaax the mountainous area is a Muuse Cabdalle settlement.

MrPrestige,

MA is our guest and they are only few. The whole surrounding area from Barlin to Wabi Cadde is us. They live amongst us only there and parts of New Hargeisa. Good folks.

Isaxaaq is all Sheikh Isaxaaq. He holds the name of the whole family.

I think you misunderstood me sxb. I am not talking about Hargeisa but the Gacanlibaax mountainous areas south Sahil between Sheikh and Mandheera
areas. That is where the name is originally from, reer Hargeisa stole it. Back in the British era days no such thing as Gacanlibaax neighborhood existed
in Hargeisa, only NewHargeisa did. Gacanlibaax is synonymous with the mountains.

I'm talking about the Gacan Libah mountains near Hargeisa, its just off Sabawanaag. This one isn't part of Sahil. That one is roughly 120km away mate. The mountain must be long like the Gollis ranges.

The one Im talking about is near Hargeisa and we have properties there. My abti once showed me the mountain from Hargeisa so its visible. I would say not more than 30km.

You are referring to Naaso Hablood not Gacanlibaax Lol. Gacanlibaax is in south Sahil, a wildlife reserve and escarpment, that is the only unique Gacanlibaax
and it is nowhere near Hargeisa. Reer Hargeysa need to stop stealing name brands, first it was Jigjiga(Yar), what is next stealing the Daalo name Lol?

This is Gacanlibaax
