Qabiilism at work

Post by EvolSyawla »

So I must confess, when people complain about qabiil drama, I picture men with a red beard, kufi, macawiis and bakoorad yelling on HCTV, or violence. Or people from this forum lol

I don't picture well-to-do suited Somali men working in UNSOA/UNOPS being little girls, undermining each other and entirely stopping important (and expensive) port operations because they don't like each other.

Nor do I imagine people complaining that they are "taking orders" from some (insert tribe name) up north (my company), as if you wouldn't mind taking orders from your beloved cadaans or arabs. Why does it matter what tribe we may or may not be? Are you not a few hundred dollars wealthier than you were when we called you for work?

Working in Somalia is very frustrating. Idiots who believe they have advanced when they are no more than parrots repeating the same crap over and over.

I really wish I could say all of this to our sub-contractors. But I can't.

Xaliimos choose the mosque that their children learn the Quran on Qabiil connections, and Faaraxs choose to pray Masjidka Tolka.

If your qabiil connections aren't paying you why boost about that loll what misguided people.

Lol @Jasmine, I know customers want to keep money with the "fam" but it's just so extreme. Tell me from the get-go you don't want to do business? They wait till everything is underway to begin having their little bitch-fits. Excuse my language.

Yes Deeqa walashay, I work here.

They do this on purpose to sabotage any progress. If you wanna fck someone over, you act nice until that moment they need you and then u drop it and walk away. So many people do this shit...especially when money is involved.

Yes, SelfD, it seems that way. Inshallah Allah makes everything easier for all of us. Being unfair to each other is really a shame. Work together, instead of trying to take advantage of each other.

Chill guys, its not as bad as it looks
My adeero has a big business in hargeisa and only his qabil works for him, its not that he despises other qabils he just wants to help his people, I see nothing wrong with that.
