It is wrong of them to reject the role of the government. It clearly states in the Federal constitution the role of the government and the federal states. And the government has the power to deal with such matters. I'am not pro federalism, but to those that are they need to learn their constitution.BigBreak wrote:what do you make of puntland (who claims to be part of somalia) not allowing their own national govt in mogadishu from signing oil deals concerning oil in puntland. doesnt this signal the death knell of puntland being part of somalia

Most of the regions in South Somalia that are not under Al-Shabaab are in control by the government. Puntland is different because their troops get paid by UN and they have been self-governing themselves a long time. However this cannot go for longer, because at the end of the day the Somali government must control the whole country.BigBreak wrote:why does the federal govt not have any control of places in somalia like puntland when they declare to be part of that country. its a sad testament that some of the parts of somalia that are not under al-shaydaan's control are not however part of the national govt's control

this idoorian and his obsession with PL

Seeing that you are pro-federalism do you know what the federal constitution states? Do you know the role of federal member states and the government? Because acting like a separate country does not mean federalism. That's the whole reason why I'am against federalism because Somalis don't know what federalism means. For Somalis federalism means every clan acts like its own country. It is 21 century stop acting like sub-humans, your people live in shanty towns and are on UN handouts whilst the country is in extreme poverty, tahriib is sky-high and poor health and education. You are the anus of the world, stop beating your chest for a tribal state will not get your dignity back.quark wrote:BigBreak wrote:what do you make of puntland (who claims to be part of somalia) not allowing their own national govt in mogadishu from signing oil deals concerning oil in puntland. doesnt this signal the death knell of puntland being part of somaliathis idoorian and his obsession with PL

Good for you to confessquark wrote:Sxb,i don't believe in that federalism BS, i want to see PL independent but unfortunately will have to settle for autonomy. Dont want to ruin your thread which has nothing to do with PL apart from what that idiot posted.

Thats what I want
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous ... e_divisionAn autonomous administrative division is an administrative division of a country that has a degree of autonomy, or freedom from an external authority. Typically it is either geographically distinct from the rest of the country or populated by a national minority.

Somalia as a nation existed since 1960 and still does exist. Nothing to do with nationalism. You don't have to be nationalistic to support Somalia as a nation.quark wrote:Sxb, cut this "nationalism" BS, it doesn't exist anywhere nor has it existed before. Go on with you positive thread, it has been derailed enough
