I refuse to accept this blatant disregard for "sometimes unfortunate things happen and we don't have to be superstitious"

There's no subtitles and it's an hour and a half long.
Either translate it all or give me the brief details

The grieving mom was asked when she discovered daughter had a cancer( her daughter died of cancer) and she said that while living in Arabia. She went on to say that when her daughter was 2 years old she dressed up her daughter to take her to an Eid families get together when her father ( the mother's father, the daughter's grandpa) told her to change the little girls clothing bc her beautiful baby fat legs were showing and that evil eyes will hit her but the mother didn't heed the warning and went like that anyways. The next day her daughter had a spot on her leg. Then it swelled up and they took her to the doctor and that spot turn into a gaping hole but she eventually healed. Btw when her daughter got the so spot her grandpa said to the mother "I warn you that she's gonna have the evil eye". Then dude asks the doctor treating his granddaughter to give him the blood drained from he so he can read something on it.AbdiJohnson wrote:There's no subtitles and it's an hour and a half long.

Long story short fast forward to last year, the same daughter goes to a wedding looking spectacular and when she got home she had a fever then it deteriorated into cancer and she died of it.
Shit that bothers me is this overwhelming explanation to attach this unfortunate happening to people were jealous of her daughter. Good grief have faith in god and stop adding these superstition.

All cultures and people have these crazy beliefs.
I had a native friend back in middle school who had a dream catcher in his room. He swore to me whenever he took it down from his wall he had a nightmare the same night. When he puts it back up, the nightmares didnt come. The nightmares were from the ancestors
Poor woman though. Sad. Yo have you ever been back home and those Sufis made you smell this white powder in a bowl? And if you reacted to it negatively, you had a jinn in you and they would tie you up? Lol. Man the smell was so foul youd be crazy if you didnt react to it but i made sure I didnt
