He said the people of Somaliland sacrificed their independence for greater Somali , he said at start the power sharing was not fair which led to dissatisfaction , and insult to injury they were called Somali qaldaan. he said the Somaliland people are very civilized and have contributed to Somali civilization.He than said the southerners committed heinous atrocities against the people of Somaliland, he than said that Somalilanders have decided their faith to live as an independent state he also stipulated the different phases on how sl governance was transformed, and how they made peace between the clans.

He than urged the International community to recognize Somaliland independence and that Somaliland is an example for all Somalis and the the southerners can learn so much from Somaliland . he than went on and said that SL is peaceful their elites president can go unguarded walk on the streets in Somaliland , while us our president Mogadishu is carried in armored vehicles. And at last he said he hopes the people of Somaliland can forgive them for the wars in the north , and we can brotherly co exist next to each other.

Barre was actually a great leader who tried to build Somalis a viable state but all the hungry hyenas derailed him. His biggest mistake was socialist dictatorship which is an ingredient for disaster in Somalis.

Barre was also brain washed by the geel of Darod and the Gun of Darod. Marehan had little info or contact with Isaac.
