Lon story short ..in every World Cup you will see an African teams complaining about their pay. It happens that these African countries are led by very corrupt leaders that the whole system is corrupt that the minister responsible for their check actually tries to have his piece of cake and actually misleads the players. They would agree on the payment before the tournament and they try to send them way below the agreed payment

One must keep in mind that these players are filthy rich tho...some are millionaires.
