I don't think this going to go away anytime for the Muslims. We are going to go through tough times as an ummah but hopefully something good shall come out of it inshaallah.

It wasn't Salafis who took out the Caliphate it was British expansion + Arab resistance by Saudis that toppled them. The Caliphate itself was in decay and was going to be eventually collapse.
