Are you questioning this shaikh's credibility and knowledge? If he has said something wrong do tell us please. He has spent 30 years of his life learning and teaching about Islam which makes him and others like him more credible than people like you and geoseven who have zero to little knowledge on matters like this. As a muslim your islamic education is continous and only ends the day your life ends so tell me how going to a university for certain amount of years will teach people everything they need to know about Islam?

Meta, do you mean to tell us that a Sheikh is immune to critique? Mate, Islam isn't the Peoples Temple Cult and Sheikhs aren't Jim Jones. Every Muslim reserves the right to question any opinions from a Sheikh which don't appeal to reason.
