A lovely Surprise!

Post by Basra- »

OK. Imagine you are reading your usual orgasmic regency biography. A bunch of rich, aristocratic dead characters. You ravel into their world of wit, glitzy glamor and back door back biting. You laugh loud, but suddenly, you check yourself, looking left and right, hoping no one heard you, because if they did, they will certainly think you MAD. You read about the esteemed beautiful Duchess of Devonshire, born in 1757-- died sadly, in 1806. You feel attached to this beautiful woman, this elegant masterpiece. You actually cry when you read the paragraph where her death is narrated with such beauty and tact, that in fact-- you sob like a baby. Then, you read about her family mourning her, her husband the duke, her children- Lord Hartington, Lady Harriet and Lady Georgiana. Her fantastic, sexy, and sassy--fashionable sister Countess Bessborough. But then, amidst the sadness, the pain, the darkness-- you meet--the late beautiful Duchess mother--Dowager Lady Spencer of Althorp--born 1737- died 1814. Suddenly-- you fall in love with this wise, sage woman. How sagacious. How wonderful. How brilliant. How magical. The most, distinctive, fantastic English woman I have ever read about. I marvel at her. Every time she appears in letters quotations, and anecdotes, I simper with glee, with uncontrolled happiness, and orgasmic fluctuations. What a mother! What a grand mother! What a woman! What a lovely surprise!!!

Isn't she the same as the one whose biography Kiera Knightly acted out in the Duchess film (2008)? Her husband was an a***hole!

Yummy! Yep, u got that right! Ms. Knightly played her in 2008. She did perfect as the Duchess, but I don't like the actress mouth and teeth arrangement. Her mother, however, was played by a perfect, matching actress. And, yep, I agree--- her husband was an assss! :stylin:
