One of the greatest somali political historians in my opinion. Read his first book " sababii burburkii somalia " around 1998 , the best book ever on how the Kuumbos destroyed Somali Rebublic a must read for any non-Kuumbo Somali., yet to read his second best book Tiirkii Colaada. we exchanged e-mails a year and few months ago and I missed his telephon calls towice I regert we never talked , he was interested on the Dervish rivisionism and contacted me after reading my Wardheernews rebuttle on the debate ' Daraawiishi yey ahayd" series and Idaajaa peiec. Am really shocked and saddened , I was planning to contact him as soon as I get the chance and time , but he passed away all of a sudden, every day a person I was about to interview dies suddenly, i have tow to interview and both are old men , i hope these tow don't pass away any time soon, or another treasuer will be lost.

Xplaya correct and is indeed very sad but the good thing is allot of his work is still out there and i am sure his son has allot of pieces he wrote all in all samir iyo imaan to his closest relatives
