Somalis are ~40-~60% Caucasian genetically already mate.

Pure Cushitics like Somalis are Sudo-Egyptian migrants of mixed ancestry (roughly intermediate) who conquered the horn after the end of the neolithic and the invention of things like agriculture, Pastoralism etc. The horn was occupied by Omotic speakers and hunter gatherers before us.

Somalia was largely empty because of its landscape & climate which is why Somalis have intermixed the least out of all the people in the horn after the initial expansion from Southern Egypt/North-East Sudan

On the other hand, cushitic and former cushitics (now Semitic speakers) having taken over the rich more populated lands in
Ethiopia acquired Omotic admixture and later on of course further Semitic admixture (during Dmt/Aksum & the introduction of Semitic).

Somalis tend to be almost 100% made up of the old Sudo-Egyptian mixed component while Ethiopian Cushitics/Semitics tend to be 80% the former and 20% Omotic/Arabian.
