Suppose a man is rejected, subject to the most firm and dreadful, albeit polite NO he has ever encountered. Actually, suppose it's the first rejection he has ever encountered.

1) He hasn't done anything wrong. Downright confused at the turn of events to be honest.
2) Man is fairly decent, really down to Earth....and generally alright with females.
3) The subject of his affection is well acquainted with him, they've known each other for a long time.
4) His approach was direct and honest.
5) He was told that he would no longer be welcome if he persisted

What in God's good name should be his next move?

Jasmine, Sophi, Salool....even Perfect Order, your input would be appreciated. Anybody who can relate to the situation or is fairly adept at understanding the female psyche, feel free to comment.


Should he buy her gifts? Try talking to her again after sometime? Help out a family member of her? wtf is he supposed to do

Why not? You like it at first. You feel it could be the start of a wonderful thing. After a while you're bored and you feel the passion is gone. Pretty soon you ask yourself why you get up and go there every morning. Oh yeah, societal pressure.

It may not be you. Rejection sucks, but there could be someone else that has already caught her fancy. Hard to convince her to look elsewhere in that case.

If there isn't just remain respectful and friendly. She may also be distracted and not looking for a relationship at the moment. I know it's easy to internalize rejection, but it could really just be a bad time.
