Post by LiquidHYDROGEN »

If you could only take one book with you anywhere, what would it be? Obviously after the Qur'an.

After the Qur'an, Al Ghazali's magnum opus ' The Revival of the Religious Sciences". Not really a book but a set of books, 4 volumes, 10 books each.

Dune and The Great Gatspy

It's difficult to choose a favorite but this comes to mind now. Epic in scale.

Very hard question.

Things fall apart by Chinua Achebe or 1984 by George Orwel.

Haa, it is difficult to pinpoint a particular a book when you continuously read, then again are we talking fiction or non fiction books.

There was a time I used to say such and such book is my fav but not anymore, have got many books as favs.

I've always wondered how people choose a favorite when it comes to literature or films. There's so much content we've all read or viewed it's almost impossible.

True.

To me;a fav means a book I can read again and again without being bored at all.

Still, very difficult question to answer when u read a lot.

Geo. Exactly.I find it easier when picking a film compared to books.

Don't know how many times I've read this gem.

I also really enjoy dystopian novels: 1984, the giver, the island etc
