What are you eating for Eid?

Post by Caesar »

As is tradition, my family will partake in Cambaabur ( also spelled as Ambabur) :eat:
Ambabur is very popular in Djibouti and could possibly be the place it originated. What we find interesting is the flavour combinations and the way it is served. Even though it has a savoury base, it is sprinkled with sugar and drizzled with melted ghee. though some families use cream, yogurt etc. I never had one with vegetable ghee -
