Being inspired by Warsheek's thread.
I'm largely anti-federalism. However if I have no other choice then my version of federalism would be totally different than the current version. (Qabil federalism)
My version of federalism: All 18 regions of Somalia become a federal member state, therefore Somalia would have 18 federal regions. Very simple and less conflict. If that doesn't occur then I will forever remain pro-unitary government.
Don't forget federal system is not so bad. Regions have some power whilst the national government has the supreme power. Whereas the confederation system the regions have the majority of the power and the national government is weak.
Here is a educational clip:
If Qabil rivarly does not exist, then federal system would be perfect. Therefore the best way to implement federal system is to abolish the qabil method and rather let each 18 regions become individual member states.
