The Somali government and AMISOM are under process of beggning the biggest offensive against Al-Shabaab soon and they vowed to eradicate Al-Shabaab from every region by the end of this year.

Al-Shabaab largest stronghold are Baraawe and Buulo Mareer.

Majority of towns and areas liberated from Al-Shabaab are done by the Somali national forces. AMISOM are actually not needed, they more of a obstacle to be honest. All they do is delay things. The only good thing about AMISOM is their weapons and food in which they share it with SNA.

Anyways, I ain't expecting much from AMISOM just the SNA.
