For work/business, would you do it long-term? I travel for work and apart from the perks, free 4-star hotel stays, sightseeing when you can, networking etc, there are many hidden expenses involved, like jetlags! If it was just travel inland or a short-term project would you still do it? I think for short-term's fine.

I travel a lot for work, have been for years now.
I love it, I've always wanted to travel and I get to do it regularly. But, I couldn't do it forever, it's great when you're single but not when you have a family.. :|

I hate being in planes but I do love to travel, for leisure, never for work...

I don't mind I actually enjoy it, keeps things interesting. But it's not something I would do once I settle down be it for short term or long term projects.

I have done it for 3 years.. I loved it but I'm done with it. My son is talking now, he knows whats going on around him so I can't do absent father any longer.

If there are no attachments and you only responsible for yourself then you should do it but not for long. You can get into the habit of being alone real quick.

Interesting and sensible sentiments so far. I agree, short-term work travel or leisure are best.

I wouldn't want to get used to being alone even if it gives you a sense of freedom. Once kids and husband enter the picture then... BAM! Naaya xageed tagaysa?? LOL
