Tana River: The Third Somali River

This is the start of a series of posts describing the various lands of Beesha Darood
With all of the attention that the Juba and Shebelle get, I think we forget about the third Somali river.
The Tana river is located in North Eastern Kenya, and runs primarily through Garissa County.
Unlike the Juba river, the Tana is a Darood river, and is not shared with any other clan
It is also home to my subclan, the Kablalax
Now that I know we have such land, I will never go back to Mudug, ever

I just noticed Garissa county is focking huge beesha is few miles from Lamu. Ijara town is close to Lamu than Garissa.

Until then I had no idea that there was another river where Beesha lived
The area between the Juba and the Tana is the most green and fertile in all of Somaliweyne, and all of it belongs to beesha
If I ever want to live in Somalia, I chose either Kismayo or Garissa.

The whole of South Garissa is a huge flood plain. It is prime farmland. The entire plain is alluvial soil brought down from the highlands
South Garissa can become a huge food producer.

You don't know shit about NFD. Tana river country and Garissa Country are separated by by the Tana river.

Garissa is Absame country while Tana country is is dominated Orma and Pokomo who are Galo madow and Bantu groups followed by some Wardeey.

There are no Orma or Pokomo in Garissa County. Garissa County is Pure Darood. They live across the river in Tana River County.
The river is the border. The Orma and Warday lost to the Darood during the Gaalo Madow wars.
