Should Somalis make a protest?

Post by JamalAddow »

There are about 200,000 thousand Somalis in London. How hard would it be to make a protest with a good few hundred. Not forgetting its not a qabil cause, but rather all our territorial waters.

The protest would raise awareness, make the Somali public back home aware and in rage, media coverage, motivate the parliament to vote against the deals taking place.

This would take place some time in October, cuz September is uni start time and all.

(For those wondering, the gov't is trying to sell our waters).

(This is assuming if they don't stab each other over postcodes).

Are u friggin crazy? Take a look around us on this forum. Ape monkey somalis will protest for half of a tuulo in Gaalkacyo, or Kismayo or all these towns with no sewage or running water. Territorial waters that possibly have billions of barrels of oil reserves? Shyts not important.

When you say "our water" what do you mean?

How exactly would that effect Djibouti?

If doesn't am not interested.

.when Ethiopia was committing genocide and protest were organised not many turned up.

But then again since jaad was banned there are plenty faraxs who would love nothing more than a distraction from the cold turkey.

Protest achieve nothing. It didn't save the life of a single child or mother in Gaza.

The 99,000 figure is only the British Somalis that were born in Somalia. So the figure is leaving the British Somalis born here, Swedish, Dutch, Norwwegian and Danish etc Somalis that were born in those and in Somalia. Altogether 200,000 in London, and 100,000 in the rest of the country.

I am a good Somali person, if I saw someone calling for protest I would attend it and give my support.

I try to support Somali sisters in education and work, if I see somali brother with potential I advice him and give assistance in what he needs.

realistically I am fighting a losing battle because I know there are hundreds of Somali guys my age who do the opposite, selling drugs, killing, stabbing etc

But hey if I can make a positive change to just one life, maybe that is worth it.

The protests were directed at the wrong individuals and institutions:

http://www.algemeiner.com/2014/08/05/ho ... n-shields/

"The law is clear: using civilians as human shields—which the Hamas battle manual mandates—is an absolute war crime. There are no exceptions or matters of degree, especially when there are alternatives. On the other hand, shooting at legitimate military targets, such as rockets and terror tunnels is permitted, unless the number of anticipated civilian casualties is disproportionate to the military importance of the target. This is a matter of degree and judgment, often difficult to calculate in the fog of war. The law is also clear that when a criminal takes a hostage and uses that hostage as a shield from behind whom to fire at civilians or police, and if the police fire back and kill the hostage, it is the criminal and not the policeman who is guilty of murder. So too with Hamas: when it uses human shields and the Israeli Army fires back and kills some of the shields, it is Hamas who is responsible for their deaths."

We're not trying to convince the cursed people Jews to stop killing Muslims, we're trying to convince good patriotic mps to save Somalia's waters.

It isn't in their powers to save Somalia's waters.
