They're kissing an individual hair of the prophet SAW. Relics of the prophet are very sacred and kept in high standard.

Here is how the bowl of the prophet saw was brought to Chechnya. It's stored in 'Heart of Chechnya" mosque in Grozny.

Aisha soaked the shirt of the prophet In water and squeezed it into cups for the companions to drink when they were will, the relics of the prophet, are precious.

seeking blessnings from the prophets relics is part of islam. The great army commander Khalid bin Waleed used to keep a piece of the prophets hair in his helmet. The sahaba used to literally drink the wudu water that dripped off the prophets skin....Please do research before criticizing that which you don't know. You make your self look bad, and it ruins it for the rest of us..btw if it makes some of you guys feel better even salafi sheikhs say you can seek blessings from the relics of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

"My family sent me to Umm Salama with a cup of water. Umm Salama brought out a silver bottle which contained one of the hairs of the Prophet, and it used to be that if anyone came under the evil eye or ill health they used to send her a cup of water through which she would pass this hair (for drinking). We used to look into the silver bottle: I saw some reddish hairs."(bukhari)

It's Allah (swt) that heals and strengthens........not the useless relics.
This is a bid'ah.
