Somalia needs to negotiate with al-kabab then move on to p/land and j/land. once there is peace and stability in south somalia, spend your efforts in your land.
Somaliland will never join Somalia again. We made that mistake once. Never Again.

He said his negotiators have met with Somaliland in four separate instances in the past year. And that negotiations are still ongoing and he is optimistic about re-establishing ties between north and south.
He also announced a military operation to take more territory from Al-Shabaab in the coming days.
The subject of Puntland and other regional parties are also touched on.

We aint coming back to Somalia. Never Again. Why does Somalia need Somaliland in the first place? You guys have the most fertile lands, you get lots of UN donations and free handouts from EU/US.

His talking about the negotiations in Turkey stated by Sheikh Sharif. Nothing special since nothing comes to fruition from the talks except more talks.

The only thing Hassan Sheikh Mahamoud projected in the 5 minutes I watched from 107 minute mark on is how out of touch he is. I doubt any of the people there believed a word he said. The moderator himself tried to elude to the fact that this idea of Unity might be far fetched at this point in time. Instead of taking the soft ball question and hitting it out of the park, he waded into some grand delusions that will never transpire.

Sheikh Shariif? Dude Sheikh Dalxiis wasn't in power at that time. Somaliland refused to negotiate with a government in transition. They only accepted this government because it is not in transition. The only time Shariif Dalxiis had dialogue with Siilaanyo was in UAE.
Shameful thing is that reer Somaliland will only accept dialogue outside of Somalia. They refuse to come Mogadishu and they won't allow Somali government officials to come Hargeisa.

What did Somalia do to deserve such rewards? Infact Somaliland should cancel these so called talks on the count of you people not being able to hold to anything agreed on!!

The president of Somalia should worry about how the Bantu Amisom
will lookout for him now that Al-Shabaab has started assassinating MPs.
He should cease talking about unity with people who want nothing of it
