Saacjabshee,

I was not against Somaliland. I did not like how they went about things. I did not like the system and when I criticized this, all Landers jumped on me like a pack of wolf so I said fok em all iyaga dhan wan qusiin

I did not like the ictiraaf obsession. I did not like how the leaders lied to the locals that ictiraf was on its way to fix all problems. I did not like the deception and lies. I wanted Landers to have honest debate and honest solutions for real problems.

I also did not like how Silanyo allowed Hirsi Gaab to dominate everyone including himself. Such experienced man should not have unleashed unknown man on the people.

What changed me?

Ato Silanyo and the Kulmiye government have. In the last two years or year and half, they made dramatic changes. They no longer mislead the locals by drugging them with ictiraaf. They changed a lot of social issues and political ones. Ictiraaf is no on the back end of plans and locals know they can do everything for themselves.

Hirsi is no longer on the back of Silanyo. Hirsi is teaching Landers to help rebuild their nation rather than wait for Mr ictiraaf to fix it for them. He is flying corner to corner trying to raise funds from Somalilanders. All these things make me proud of my people. I believe one should help himself before begging the world.

The biggest beggar right now is Wanlawein; they can't even feed their kids nor can they protect their women (AMISOM does).

Finally SL understands me and things are being done at local levels. Silanyo also karbaashed the Gaza of Somaliland (Khaatumo) and its great news too.

I can justify that I am one of few Habar Younis that wholeheartedly support Kulmiye Government. For me things are bigger than habar iyo reer. The direction we are going is the most important. All habro will jump on the train once it moves. Right now only Kulmiye stands the chance to move this train. Marku dhaqaaqo then we can worry about Habar Yonis iyo Habar baradho carriages.

One step at a time guys. SL is heading in the right direction and that is harnessing its own people addressing domestic issues before chasing foreign backpackers as it did in the past.

Maanta wadankeni wu ino siradan yahay. Siradow ma nusqadoow...

Silanyo leadership deserves both recognition and credit. Personally, I appreciate the changes he undertook wana uu duceya inu halka mel ka si sareysa gadhsiyo umada.

1) Budget went from $50m to $220m in less than two years
2) Establishment of army ranks
3) Increase wages for all employees and civil servants (hard working people deserve to be kept at home)
4) Improving roads and connectivity
5) Harmonizing the various communities, classes and social perimeters
6) Teaching Landers to catch their own fish rather than wait for Ixtiraf to go to the highseas
7) Dissolving Somaliland's Gaza (Khaatumo)
8) Creating faith in the Diaspora; more Diasporas return now than ever before...cities like Hargeisa changed so much in just two years

All these undeniable facts made me to endorse Somaliland.
