I thought Somalia had a 2nd ammendment or something close to it, ever since the central govt collapsed in '91. The reason no 1 qabiil was able to conquer or defeat any other qabiil was because everyone was armed to the teeth.

Yea because that worked out so well for Siyaad Bare right. The reason that dude (Jahanamma allaha ku fogeeye) was able to stay in power so long was, cuz he disarmed the population.

What would keep this current administration from doing the samething? Or the thugs in Kismaayo and Hargeisa coming here to take over Mogadishu, since they know the local pop has no way of defending themselves. This is stupid all around, give them back their guns.

What has giving us all a gun done to us? It worked great for Siad Barre almost 30 years of peace. There was no clan vendetta and other qabil related crimes.
