if the child is healthy and good looking somali baby thats a blessing
if the child is ugly handicapped adoon baby or long eared long nosed jewish baby then thats a curse

Lot of use of passive voice here. If it were a priveledge, then who would decide who is worthy and who is not? What do you do with the pregnant woman who is determined to be unworthy? Must she abort? Must she give the child up for adoption? This sounds disurbingly close to some sort of facist ideology (read eugenics).
