Since saudi arabia is just across the way, why is oil so high in price...

:? I think it's price rigging.

Plus it's Africa they make do without electricity at random times during the day
I don't think this will set them back.

In my opinion everyone living in one city will be a major downfall. People want that city life at all costs.

It don't matter if Saudi or any oil rich nation is close by. As long as the place is in poverty there will be a lack of vital needs. There is no price rigging. It's simple, shortages of petrol means higher demands which means higher prices.

Actually this issue has been resolved and Somaliland is now awash with petrolleum like the salty water off Berbera.

But what I don't get is why this Marehan kid is discussing Isaac running low on petrol when his own people have no food to eat forget petrol to drive a car.

Somalia has yet declared famine and as usual, Marehan are the first ones to go along with the Rahaweins. He priorities should be finding food for his relatives.

He goes all over the internet to find anything negative about SL. That wakes him up and gives him a reason to live another day. Very strange person.

For Africa standards sland isn't that bad.

I don't think they will be starving after this or anything.

I think they are drilling in the east now, bari or sanaag or whatever so that will secure their oil for the next 100 years somaha  if they can pull it off.

Rich coming from you. A guy obsessed about wanlaweyn/koonfuur that creates sickening threads, not only that but you suffer from such extreme cuqdad that you create similar spiteful threads in non-Somali forums.

Funny how a innocent informative news related thread without any insults is hurting your feelings. Grow a thick skin

For Africa standards, Sland is very bad. Don't let the false pride of Somalis fool you. The 20 years lawless koonfuur is in much better situation than Somaliland. The same region that had relative peace for more than 20 years are dependant on food aid.

There is big difference between you and I Mr. Famine Marehan.

I do not advocate for "same country" with Wanlawein. I see them as foreigners while you claim "Somalia is one" yet you spend day in and day out trying to find any ill news about another "part of your country". You are not honest to yourself. Self-hating sicko. Why not man up and just say we are different people. I do not make no secret about my views on Wanlawein.

As people I do not have issues with Wanlawein. I'm against their traditions, cultures, values, ideologies and their politics.

You on the other hand is just typical Darood munafiiq. You should be worried about feeding your relatives. Go read which regions are the hardest hit.

Do you thing I'm a sicko like you? I'm reporting such news to give a reality check to the delusional eydoors. I don't report these news because I enjoy the misery of the triangle state. Matter of fact I wish success, peace and development in all Somali regions let it be Somalia (including triangle state), Djibouti, Ogadenia or NFD.

But a sicko like you, wishes misery for other Muslim Somalis. People you share a ethnicity and religion with. You simply suffer from extreme cuqdad-syndrome.

Warya Marehan Famine,

Don't run away from those who need you and waste your time dad isku filan oo tashaday. Read this: http://horseedmedia.net/2014/08/27/soma ... nger-gedo/

It's sad that you want to waste time on petrol when your own are falling left, center and right out off hunger.
August 27, 2014

Three people have died of hunger and malnutrition in rural areas around Gedo’s regional district of Garbaharey. Sabriye Rashid Haji, the chairman of Dabaaley village, said the three members of one family died over the weekend in his village which is about 15 km Garbaharey. They were two adults and a six-year-old child.

The family lost their livestock in the drought. Gedo is one of five regions that Somalia’s National Disaster Agency warned could face a repeat of the 2011-2012 drought and famine and is facing extreme food shortage and hunger.

Dozens of people, most of them children, are reported to have died of starvation in recent months. Last week, five children died in the district of Burdhubo, blockaded by al-Shabaab for more than six months.

The water pans, boreholes and other sources of water have dried up in rural areas and livestock herders have been moving to Lower and Middle Juba regions and into Kenya’s northeastern province seeking water.

Radio Ergo’s local reporter said a barrel of water in rural areas of Gedo increased from less than 50,000 to 140,000 Somali shillings. Our reporter said many pastoralist families were at risk ofstarvation fatal water shortage if the blockade affecting many villages continues.

Ras Hawdian-------We got nggaz that can't afford water dreaming about petrol

Ethiopia stooge,

Yes there is drought in Southern Somalia in which the nomads are affected, it is the will of God. But Marehan are doing well, from Wardheer Zone, to Liibaan Zone, to Central Somalia and towards Gedo & Jubba the great Marehan people are living a mighty life given and bless to them by the mighty God. Don't assume that we are confined in a triangle like your laangaab ass clan.

Matter of fact, one of the region you keep mentioning is the second largest region after Mogadishu that plays host for many displaced people from other regions. Alhamdulilah, Deehka (Liibaan Zone), Baardheere (Gedo), Beerxaani (Jubba's), Balanbale (Galgaduud), Saaxo (Mudug) and the countless of other Marehan land are blessed. Thanks for your concerns though.

Keep fearing walaweyn we will be coming for you eydoors soon.
