How was Slovenia able to defeat Yugoslav federal army ?

2 million people in 10 days were able to defeat the mighty Yugoslav national army yet that army destroyed Bosnia and Croatia

There was practically no fighting in Slovenia.....the people were over 95% Slovenes, also it borders Italy/Austria.

serbs had no issue with slovenia, they did not live there, they had bigger fish to fry.
slovenia declared independence , germany recognized straight away and the rest is history.
they did not fight for their independence.

Ninyahoow, you know all these affairs manne..I was just about to answer him...the thread maker would be very interested knowing that there is this 2 hour documentary that explains it all. Is like how Gurey25 explained bc the Serbs were the aggressors and had the army under their position they wanted preserve as much Greater Serbia as possible ..for Slovenia was very fortunate to have had no Serb enclaves within it land so the Serb led Yugoslavia allowed them to secede. ..what's more fascinating I've learned in the documentary is how the Croats were helped by the Germans who gave them weapons and stuff while the Bosnian Muslims were giving the middle finger. ..dude go watch the documentary, you'll see generals of the Yugoslav army slowly receding to their national homeland while also pretending their cared about the greater Yugoslavia
