Sahal i was reading a thread u made few days ago i did not comment on it , and i cant find the thread either hence this topic. What are the chances sh sharif to be back last time i checked the old sheikh of the former ICU was in Boston studying. Who are his main funders there were rumors the US was not happy how the things are going in Mogadishu and the small progress HSM is making. And that they want sharif back in power are Arabian Golf states backing him. It would be something if he runs again and he becomes President shit will be like Turkey and Russia

Since hassan sheekh is backed by qatar the UAE is now backing sharif as her candidate in 2016

Gulf countries have big influence on the US policies

These countries are behind the changes in egypt and iraq so of course its a dangerous card

Its all about money so I guess hassan his financiers too but he's more hated locally

As for the US, they don't care about who rules as long the fight against al shabaab continues

Some countries like the UK have oil interests so they care about who deals with them and implements their vision for somalia

But generally speaking many cercles and factors are not favour of hassan sheekh being back

All he can do is to convince the west to extend his term but they are suppoting the planB in case the vision cannot be implemented eaxactly

Looks like hassan sheekh has started his campaing earlier by announcing and talking about it in the meeting with the elders

If he makes good changes in his last two years, this may help his popularity.
