I think people play with the word to say long/short ____ , and therefore confuse people...The explanations on this thread are the best

Landheere means one thing in Somaliland language and another in Wanlawein language. If you went to Mogadishu and called the receptionist in Aden Adde airport; "naaya laangabanay visa-ha ii jar dee". She will be jumping up and down saying: "Alla aboowe ya ku sheegay ina laan gabnahay, alla Sheikh Abdiqadir Jeeylaniyooooooow. Aboowe fariso nooh aan ku niikiye."
