WTF, are you guys serious? Laan means "a branch" and dheer is obviously "Long". Laandheere therefore means long ancestry.
afsoomaaliga ciyaarta ka daaya nimankiinan reer koonfureed. wax walba waxay ku odhanayaan waa dumar hoosteeda. oo adeer miyeydaan wax kaleba ka hadal.

Landheere means one thing in Somaliland language and another in Wanlawein language. If you went to Mogadishu and called the receptionist in Aden Adde airport; "naaya laangabanay visa-ha ii jar dee". She will be jumping up and down saying: "Alla aboowe ya ku sheegay ina laan gabnahay, alla Sheikh Abdiqadir Jeeylaniyooooooow. Aboowe fariso nooh aan ku niikiye."

Likely reply: "Naayahe dee dhinacna Hawiye madobe uma dhaftide igu dhaqso"
