Re: Golis University Burco New Campus

The design could be improved to be fair... when would the construction start? And when is the predicted deadline?

The design is not bad, but they should replace that colour with white or light beige colour.
The construction started June 2014.

All those universities kee sheeg are just jokes...easy way to make money. Hargeisa university and Camuud are the only serious uni.

Re: Golis University Burco New Campus
LeJusticier,
We need educational reforms and regulatory bodies but we should not discourage whatever we have. We have to start somewhere. If we de-list everyone and anything even before we get anything to reform, then we are the obstacle.
We should allow them and after certain period (5-10 years), we should filter the system and de-list those failing to meet standards. Today, 2014, I feel we have reached the stage of reforms. We should filter the system out and dropout any not meeting the benchmark.
From my own views the following institutions are not bad but should improve.
1) Amoud
2) UoH
3) Admas University (last year students from Admas won 7 out off 11 scholarships to Turkey after examinations)
4) Addis Ababa Medical College
5) Hope University
I also propose Guban University.
Every year these institutions should be examined and scrutinized. The Gov needs to introduce standards. Now is the time.
However, we should not simply discourage them and compare a nation establishing itself to established ones. We have to start somewhere somehow.

You're right, we to have start somewhere first. All I hope to see reforms and regulatory bodies for education and healthy department because of the fake drugs.Hawdian wrote:LeJusticier,
