Cheapest way to call back home ?!?!

What is the cheapest way of calling a mobile number in Somalia. Viber is not a option and I want to make the call from my mobile directly. I'm on a mobile contract so calling them is a big risk and even them calling me I heard I can be charged for. I have another SIM card I can use and was wondering if there was other cheaper alternatives i.e. calling cards ? BTW im calling from the UK

Thanks

Here's what I use when communicating with my uncle and cousins back home.

Skype-- Video and call
Tango- Video and call
What's up- Text message
Viber-- Phone call or text message
And emails.

Technology :blessed:

Not everyone is blessed with the latest technologies and smartphones back home. Majority are still using phones from decade if not longer ago. Calling badhiyee people so definitely no Skype, tango blah blah. I want to make a normal call, doesn't anyone do that anymore

I never communicated with someone from badiye, that's a tough one, like the above member suggested perhaps your family member should get a U.S line. So you could talk to them freely. Without any phone card.

P.s

Remember the ancient phone card? Do the manufactures even make those kind of phone cards anymore?

Its actually $50 to set up and $15 monthly from Telesom.

It's beautiful, although the weather does make it shitty sometimes.
