This type of shit wouldn't happen in the civilized world because in the civilized world parties are built on ideologies.
What we're seeing here is the travesty of democracy.
Is this the standard? To speak at a gathering (like a bunch of hunter gatherers) and have some old lady put a fake replica of the Hawaiian lei on your neck?
Seriously though, if a Harvard grad. like Jamal is satisfied with this then god knows what the average politician is satisfied with.
