What happened is that they were too ambitious and unrealistic in their stated aims and expectations.

But I know that a select core still meet and do stuff. They recently had something in london with the un on Somalia.

If you would like to see what they are doing then join their linkedin group if you haven't already. I must agree there appeared to be a lot more momentum and enthusiasm in 2012. Recently, I haven't heard of any recent projects plus most of their events occur in the UK, which could explain that. I think they have covered more ground in the US (particularly Seattle). I have yet to find their chapter in Canada, its probably in Ottawa I bet. Not so much in Toronto. In Toronto they have a similar group called Aspire2Lead that consists of professionals but I don't think they are affiliated with WWSP.
