Hotels to stay in while in Hargeisa

Post by MrPrestige »

So I am thinking of going to Hargeisa by Dec. What are the best hotels out there other than the usual like Ambassador Hotel?

I am liking Buuba hotel so far, single bed 8 nights for $120. :win: Alloore Hargeisa hotel is also good I heard, anybody has the
website of it?

There is no point advising you on hotels because for you even oxygen comes in habar molecules. Why don't you change the title to "Talo iyo Tawiif Hotels"? Maybe you will get some input then.

Relax Gabilian wannabe kid. Last I checked Buubaa hotel belongs to a individual from the Salahley community. I also like the central location
of the hotel, very nice.

Buubaa is where my awoowe's supermarket is used to be (ground floor) before last year. That's where Isaxaaq folks chill out in a place called Bah ku horjog (opposite Cawaale restaurant). It's right next to Shiraqle market (Bacadlaha) and opposite City Center hotel. All the Isaxaaq ni99az are there.

I personally like Oriental. It's in good location. I like all the noise and buzz of the city. I like Ali Mataan mosque prayers and the hotel itself is very friendly. They are also open minded are not Wahabi like Deero, Alore and others. The Oromo girls near the staircase make good smoothies and tea.

Buubaa is cheap because its not really a hotel.

Siraaj hotel, conveniently located front of Masjid Jama..cost per night $10..single bed, tv, fan and restroom..very clean..downstairs you can eat at their decent restaurant ..everything is at a walking distance..how do I know this ? I use to drink cappuccino from them in the evenings while watching the city people walk pass us ..the beggar and the shoe boy would come around ..the hawker would also come to you, you just shoo them away..I once tried to rent it for a night to bring in that which we dudes love but I was refused, I was asked to show a certificate

It was an urgent matter at the moment, the agreement was made just that evening ..all my hopes were dashed when they refused even my bribery ..that night I resorted to going to an empty parking lot, in the middle of surgical procedure, I kid you not , a dude with an AK47 sneaked upon us and scared the living daylight out of me by knocking on the car window ..he said " war miyaadan isku xishooneyn, ninkaa weynee garka ku yaal baad tahay", in which I replied "war dee wa xaaskeygii" then he replied "war ninyahoow waxaad ku sheekeyneysid daawo "..I just pulled up my pants and just hoped on the driver side and just calmly drove off
