No poo movement is a social movement campaigning against the use of commercial shampoo.i havent read all their arguments, nonetheless it is an interesting idea.most people take the use of commercial as part of everyday life.

Washing the hair too often can remove natural oils making it dry. Most people don't condition expecting the 2in1 headnshoulders will do the job; buy separate products.

About the chemicals? I'm not sure, but best to find a minimal natural product.
