Somalis who don't intermarry with other tribes look differen

Somalis who tend to be mixed between two tribes will have a homogeneous appearance, as opposed to those who've been marrying in the tribe only since the inception of the tribe itself. I happen to be of the second category, and this is why I always hear " Somali mu eeko" when I visit other Somali homes. It's difficult to articulate but the offspring of a long line of intertribal marriages won't look the same as another somali from another tribe 700 miles somewhere else.

It is not about tribes.some of my uncles look so different to their own sisters because they had a different mother.my mother has a kalahari desert look, with her slightly slanted eyes, yet her hair is almost indian type.my father is dark skinned and slim, man looks like a typical cushtic warrior.my extended famil looks like we have people from congo, rwanda, ethiopia, yemen.my cousin looks like he came from zimbawe, but his brother from the same mother and father resembles a short xabashi distance runner.somalis are very diverse people, even within families, let alone tribes.
