What kind of an Algerian is called Michael Zehaf-Bibeau? Also How the hell is he a convert if he is supposedly an Algerian? I'm calling bullshit. He's either half Algerian on his MOM's side (he was born in Canada) or he's not Algerian at all. Either way, mentioning his (what I think) mother's heritage when the guy is overwhelmingly white Canadian is stupid......He is after all a Half white kid born and bred in Canada and to top it all he was likely brought up in a non-religious household.

I had an awkward moment today; I was in a conference call/meeting with a couple of lawyers at work and another one from Virginia this morning when the story first broke. As soon as I introduced myself, the US lawyer says he's watching CNN and starts commiserating about the situation in Ottawa. At the end of the meeting, he thanks everyone by name and omits me with an "and everyone else there..."
