radio mogadishu doesn't mention the cabinet reshuffle!

Post by sahal80 »

After he decided to make a cabinet reshuffle, the former pm saacid has carried his new list of cabinet members to the president so he can get his approval, the president has called him immedietly to resign and the the pm has made the issue clear asking the mps to back the constitution

However, what happened now is a different reshuffle bc they are the same faces who got the approval of both the president and the parliament, the pm has only made exchange of positions, thus, may not need a new approval from the president

According to the news, the presiudent has asked the pm last night to postpone this until the copenhagen conference was done then they will make a whole reshuffle!

Fearing from a conspiracy that will take him to the parliament, the pm has refused this suggestion and announced this reshuffle from one side

But the question is can this work for him or it has to be agreed by the president?

News are saying the presidents group are calling for their ministers to resign to force the pm make a whole reshuffle that needs the parliaments approval

Its unknown yet how the president will react, according to the news that's going on around his office is too busy with meetings and may not accept the reshuffle instead call for a new government!

This is retarded.

Shouldn't the PM be focusing on ensuring that milestones are reached and the country is moving forward. What is the point of changing Ministerial positions this late in the game. What work are they going to be getting done with so little time and in new positions.

These people need to understand that an entire country is waiting for them to do their jobs. Stop the cock fighting

He needs to stop acting like a baby, sidan si ma'aha

Apparently he switched the minister of livestock who was a veterinarian to constitution. When I heard this I was like :wow: we had a minister who was qualified for the ministry he was in

This seems to be an ego trip and it's unfair on Somalia. What's his justification for moving people? Abdiweli is power-tripping.

It's becoming painful obvious that Somalia needs a new president.

Partisan are we Jasmine? Is the President not power hungry when he wants to fill influential positions in the cabinet with is Dam Jadid group? Is the President not power hungry when a PM disagrees with him he pays Parliament to oust him? I haven't seen a case where the PM has encroached on the President's powers but vice versa.

PS. Farax Topaz was the constitutinal minister and was moved to be the livestock minister, and I believe was trained as a vet. :|

Hassan Sheekh officially disapproved Baldy's reshuffle. Can't wait to see Baldy getting sacked.

No it's the other way around, the guy who held the post was a vet and he was moved to the constitution.

It's one thing if he's reshuffling for a purpose that benefits the country but doing things like this will just delay getting Somalia stable and functioning

I haven't seen HSM do anything that puts the progress of Somalia at a disadvantage. We're doing well and heading in the right direction alxamdulillah. :som:

Clan based struggle for power, when will they realize the bigger picture? I wish to see Culusow gone too in the future. Maybe let a goodhearted Somali from a minority clan lead the country.

The PM can do whatever he wants with his cabinet, keep in mind that the cabinet is just a means of delegating his executive functions.

As long as he follows 4.5, I don't see a problem with what the PM did.

The president has nothing to do with cabinet formation, he is the head of state, not the executive.

Sahal spreading his lies as usual. Radio Mogadishu does mention the PM's reshuffle of the cabinet: http://radiomuqdisho.net/deg-deg-isku-s ... soakhriso/

Radio Mogadishu isn't owned by Culusoow, if you are suggesting that it is.

Also I welcome the PM for removing Topaz from that position. I think it was a brave move and a direct attack against Culusoow's groupies. Topaz reminds me of Shariif Sakiin they are both slimy and dangerous last but not least they are both physically owned by Ethiopia.

I like how Baldy has appointed Topaz the minister of Livestock, just insult to his face

You are right he switched the two ministers, but it's all politics. And I can't argue with your experience, but I assure you that XSM has been a complete failure.

Jasmine, you are naive if you think any of these guys have Somalias interests at heart. It's all dirty politics. The only interesting thing now is that we have a PM that is pushing the president and exerting his powers as PM. Soon you will hear of a campaign by the President to remove the PM, which of course is code for bribing the Parliament. Keep wishing though.
