Say what you like about SL but at least they look after the interests of their own people - something you southerners have no understanding of. They would never invite thousands of Aids-ridden, ebola-carrying west Africans to protect them against other Somalis.

Yes. according to our minister of heatlth. Somaliland have emmergence plan and long term plan to fight against ebola. so far the ministry deployed medical stuff to all checkpoints ( 53 as he said). you will be screened first, then the immigration officer or the entrypoint officer will check your passport or ask you if you are from any ebola high risk place. if they see you from some west african country they will deport you. i am not sure how they deal with walaweyns. as there are significant number of west african troops stationed in some parts of somalia.[youtube]5irC8WC7r9Q&[/youtube]

He said they have plans to set up screening points at 53 points of entry.it hasnt been established as of yet and seems somewhat of an exaggeration (costs, practicality, etc.)

Ps.screening or checking a persons temperature, which is all that is happening in the pic, only helps if the person is in advanced stages of developing a fever.two people already passed through us airports even though they had ebola because they hadnt developed a fever ye and theh didnt report any illness..still, it is better than doing nothing.keeping out wanlweyns-good luck with that.

I was in SL a few years back and there were plenty of Africans in the hotels and restaurants. But don't let that get in the way of your cuqdad. Just because we do't have 50,000 Nigerians and Ugandans raping our women doesn't mean we should fear disease epidemics.
