My prediction is that a pro-ethiopian group will win this election
This because ethiopia will be controlling the regions from galgaduud to kismayo where the selected mps will come from to vote for the president
In that case it will be
Xalane(corrunt finance minister) as president
Ahmed abdisalam(corrunt somali ambassador to ethiopia) as prime minister
Other possible scenarios
Qatar-turkey group hassan sheikh/dj/al islah
President hassan cannot continue if his group lose their grip on power
UAE group-ala shaykh/shaeikh sharif
They may have chance to win it but people may wanna see new faces so they better to come up with a new politician.

Re: possible scenarios for 2016 elections
Its to much uncertain factors to predict what will happen in 2016 and your scenario i wouldnt call possible but highly unlikely.
Re: possible scenarios for 2016 elections
Maybe the personalities but these regional and continental policies exist
Example why halane?
Reason that the AU r now not backing abdiwali is so that he can be replaced by halane and then he will be their presidential candidate in 2016
Ethiopia is spreading in many regions so she can control the local districts that will select their mps
So ethiopia is big factor in that elections
Dj are trying to make a pro-govt admins so they can control their mps
They started with bandir districts
However, as part of his departure in 2016, they r getting rid of his crew and the pm is taking advantage of this
This is why the president is kinda either to exist me and my crew together or the pm has to go
There's EU too
Islamists have money but in the next era the west will be favouring a non islamist regime so whoever will lead the pro-ethiopians r closer to win.

Re: possible scenarios for 2016 elections
Sahal if Abdiweli goes the President in future needs to appoint the other members of the Cabinet BEFORE the Prime Minister and threaten the new PM that he will dismiss any cabinet member the PM appoints if the President doesnt apporve, especially if he replaces a Presidential ally.
Also the President should demand the Prime Minister sign an unofficial letter before being appointed that details on the PM agreeing to serve the Pres or resign
Sahal look at your Private Message for strategic points I sent you
