It's political deadlock. PM is backed by a lot of groups with the bulk of the support coming form his Darod sub-clan. The reason Saacid and Farmajo were tossed so easily is because they were HAG workers. This guy is is politically genius and he knows where his supporters are

I have seen xildbibaan xidig one of the most darodist MPs campaining against xiirane last week. "guushu way aaboyaal badantahay" darod Mps are just 60 something even if they all stick together they can not save xiirane' s ass. In my opinion walaweynMPs are becoming more nationalists they just could not take any more. In fact replacing the PM is the most watched game in somali politics so it became boring. Xiirane is not clever than saacid farmaajo etc but he is very lucky.

HSM don't have the support from his own Mudulood mps,murusade and ministers such as Ereg (Sacad) and Dhuxulow supports yuulka thus the political deadlock.

Somalis will tribalise everything but the fact is the pm has support from all sides but whats count in this case its the level support the pm gets from international backers.

My friend the game being played here is for the votes of Dir, D&M and Beesha Shanaad. We all know how the others will be voting. Who ever gains the votes of Dir, D&M and Beesha Shanaad wins.
Even if his own clan dislikes him, when push comes to shove they will vote for him. The only reason this motion has not moved forward is because xiirane has wide suppourt from those three factions.
