Somaliland: President Silanyo inaugurates key road

HARGEISA-President Ahmed Silanyo of Somaliland leading a delegation headed to Sahil region and received cordial welcome on his way to the coastal city of Berbera.

The president went on there to inaugurate the rehabilitation of the road that links Berbera to Hargeisa and the ceremony took place at Hamaas, a town that lies 40 km eat of the port city of Berbera.

The road that links Berbera to Shiekh will also be rehabilitated as pledged by Silanyo leadership.

President Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo has kick-started a vast road infrastructure program under his new policies.

The existing roads network will be rehabilitated and expanded to service remote and improve transportation.

Since the Ethiopians increased using Berbera port with their heavy lorries it has had a profound effect on the state of the tarmac. Berbera Hargeisa is a total nightmare today with potholes every few metres.

Did any one of you read budget 2015 priorities ? were can we get full details ? , I heard minister abdi aw dahir saying we are going to build referral hospital, how long are they going to add erigavo road next year ? any other plans ? I think we need one more bridge over Arabsiyo river, people died there this year the goverment must do something.

poor primary school children use to get free govt paid school dinners 'nus saac', this was taken away from the kids in order to fund the so called ceerigabo road.lol

flip flopping to 'REPAIR' the hargeisa-berbera road which was built by the British, and repairs funded by SDF world bank is not going change anything on the ground. do silaanyo and his cronies take us for children. kkk.lol

the 'REPAIR' opened today were funded by somaliland development fund, which is the world bank, and not by qudhimye.lol

not the world bank but the uk and Denmark funded thru the somaliland development fund. I think they meant to start 2015, but after siilanyo approve rating went down, he's trying to get back on the good book.That's why u see him opening the ina guux and baligubadle road in the last couple of days even doh they not finished yet.


I think xirsi is advising him to take this initiatives. But hey that's qudhimye for you.
