Called attempted motion "Sharci Darro". Funny How our own Baghdad Sahal always talks about the amazing support locally Culusow gets from who exactly? A Madoobe who has no influence locally or a Shariif Sakiin? Here's a Guy who Internationally is respected as representing the most signifigant Somali Regional State, institution in Puntland. On top of that He's a PhD, Harvard grad not some geeljire. His support is more meaningful as far as stakeholders worldwide instead of the hoodlums Culusow has around Him. President Abdiwali

Do these people honestly believe that the prime minister merely represents sade? Lol it's Gaas obligation to support the prime minister since he was clearly being wronged, & the dastuurka was being trampled on by Hassan Shiekh & his minions. There's no need to thank Gaas, he was merely doing his duty.

I don't like to involve between in some clans business but since you mentioned my name...
Ethiopian FM has called him and told him to take his hands off from the khilaf bc of gabre...
To me madoobe is the most influential regional president, fully backed by the kenyan somali politicians, closer to ethiopia and its somali region, afeey, mahboub macalin
The sheikh is dangerous and he's going to have a foot in villa somalia
Erhiopia has a deal with the govt since the addis agreement wich was done without PL
What's happening now is an extension of that process
Ethiopia has a policy of dealing with every region separately
Good lesson for skinnies!

Abdiweli Gaas, Ahmed Madoobe have to get behind our prime minister Abdi weli sheikh & adhere to his orders. They're under his authority, I for one support him 100%. The people of jubaland overwhelmingly support him with the exception of bare huraale, abdiweli sheikh just might be our new president in the making 2016.

Culusow, Faarax Cabdiqaadir are pretty much condoms of Ethiopia. Ofcourse Ethiopia will be in Dam Jadiid's corner However just in case You didn't realize Ethiopia itself is one of the poorest Country's in the world and a welfare State that lives off of Western Aid. As far as International Policy on Somalia please stop putting Ethiopia, IGAD on par with the EU, US, UN. Or locally putting Ahmed Madoobe who controls one town in Kismayo, on par with President Abdiwali of Puntland, a 3 region State. Your cheer leading rants are immature and silly analysis. Analyze events as they actually are not how You want them to be.

Murax is right the state department leads Addis Ababba not the other way around ,the 1.1 Billion in aid every year the US provides to Ethiopia the Xabashis serve the US interest in the region the Tigres receive incentives to be the so called Guardians in the Horn against terrorism and protect key US interest in the region. But the Ethiopians dont draft US policies lool , Its funny, i remember i was watching Johnny Carson former US envoy African affairs holding a press conference for Somalia , a Somali asked him when they introduced the dual track policy in the former Somali republic. Is this a US policy or an Ethiopian policy Carson laughed very hard its our policy we made we drafted we executed it we formed its a US policy he proudly said we listen to no one when it comes to our African affairs policy we solely work out the policy on our own no one this was 2011. Somalis ask US officials silly questions

Lol and who said they r same? The point is that IGAD countries have their own interests so they knew what is coming and what will happen so if they see some thing that's closer to their interests they will back it
As troop contributing countries they have a say in the somali affairs but the final word goes for the west/donors/their funders.
They see this pm messing up all the processes and arrangements that was reached so far
Ethiopias biggest reason is to take the govt away from the west who promised them big support and bilateral relations but govt have became divided and each one seeks a diplomatic support
So IGAD has convinced the west to sort out from within the somali leadership but it has to be done quickly otherswise the pressure will be back.
Wassalam.

Ditto. A Country with the most famine epidemics in the world next to Somalia cannot dictate to the UN/EU/US or try to compete with them when it comes to Somali policy. That's just simply ridiculous.

I don't care about what IGAD wants or doesn't want. Bottom line is I can tell You for a 100% fact the West sees Abdiwali as a more competent administrator than Culusow. That much is evident. Nickolas Kay doesn't call out vote buying in the parliment, the US doesn't talk about cutting off aid, etc. without that being clear. Therefore fadhlan lets stop talking about a Country with the highest famine rates in the world and put them on par with the West.

Murax you get issue with politics I guess!
Every where in the world there's a regional(on countries level) and international diplomacy they both accomplish eachother!
These countries maybe they r shyt but at the end they r political card to complete your mission successfully
Nowadays the pm has started sending letters to ethiopia! Why? Go back to the previous post!
" IGAD encourages Somali-driven solutions to the crisis,' noted IGAD envoy"

Khalid Ali,
That is Sadia Ali Aden and she is a very bright and intelligent Somali figure. What I think it was, was during the bush years, Somali policy was pretty much sub contracted to Ethiopia sometimes, but today US is more directly involved. In any event Yea I agree the notion that Ethiopia can dictate policy to Washington is ridiculous.
