In the top 200 World University Rankings, there's only one African university (University of Cape Town) at 141th rank, and no any other university. There are 3 Israeli universities and not even single other Middle Eastern university in the top 200. From South East Asia, there are three; 2 Singaporeans and 1 Malaysian. There is 0 from South Asia, nothing at all. And there are four from Latin America; 1 each from Brazil, Chile, Mexico & Argentina.

After those 11 universities from those 4 continents, the rest of them are in Northern America, Europe & North East Asia, plus Australia & New Zealand.

Let's be real, when it comes to elite rankings, the best schools are the ones that produce the most/best research. Undergraduate means nothing and always has meant nothing. I work alongside people who went to Harvard and MIT
